I’ve had my book blog for three years now and if I’m being completely honest, I haven’t been the most consistent blogger. But this year, I’m determined to fully commit. However, there are a few things I would like to share with everyone!
I’ve completely redesigned my blog. I use Wix.com as a platform and recently, they have come up with Wix Blog which is an add on that has a completely different set up from the old one I had been using. Therefore, I deleted the blog I had been using and went for the new Wix Blog add on. HOWEVER, that has had a few consequences which leads me to the next bit of information to share.
I lost all my subscribers and all of my posts in the Wix Blog conversion. So everyone who subscribed to my blog using their email now has to “re-subscribe” (if willing) using the LOG IN located at the top right hand corner of my Blog page or on the Members page. But you’re not necessarily re-subscribing. Instead, you are able to create an account in which will allow you to like and comment on posts and participate in the Forum which I will inform you of later on in this post. With this account, you are also able to follow me and get notifications whenever I post a blog post.
I have created a Forum which is basically a Book Club on my blog! Along with making an account, you may also participate in the Forum as well as like, comment on posts, and follow other members of the site. In the Forum, there are currently two categories, but over time there may be more. There is the Read with Rhea category and the Chat Books Category.
Read with Rhea in the Forum is where I provide members with a young adult book to read for that week. If interested, you can visit my posts, which are always located at the very top of the post list and you are even able to create posts of your own! In this forum, as long as your posts are about the book we are reading that week, you may post whatever you want and however much you want. Make sure to read the Rules of the Forum first!
Chat Books in the Forum is where members are able to talk about books of any kind rather than the book we are reading that week. You can talk about books, about author news, or even about books being turned into movies. Whatever you want to talk about, you can post here!
